William D. Buseck

William D. Buseck of Erie, PA established a manage­ment consulting practice in 1995 in the field of corporate renewal, serving clients in NY, PA, and OH. Buseck specializes in crisis/turnaround management, viability analysis, financial structur­ing, and interim executive staffing. Previously he held various positions in the banking industry, including Vice President & Group Manager Corporate Banking and Vice President Special Assets at PNC Bank.

In 2015, W.D. Buseck & Associates, LLC expanded its bank consulting practice with the acquisition of Avalon Financial Services, Ltd., Niles, OH, a provider of loan review and other services to the banking industry in OH, IN, MI, WV, and KY.

Buseck received a B.A. degree from Gannon College. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Banking at Bucknell University and the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. Buseck also completed the Robert Morris Associates’ Commercial Loans to Business/OMEGA Program and holds several certificates from the American Institute of Banking.

Buseck served for many years as a member of the Board and as President (2008-2010) of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Risk Management Association. He is a member of the Board, Loan Review, and Executive Committees of the Regional Development Funding Corpora-tion, Pittsburgh, PA, a non-profit corporation providing loans to western PA businesses.

Buseck is president of Mid America Business Brokers, Inc. an enterprise specializing in transitioning ownership of middle market companies. He is also a founding director and Director of Operations/Finance of Community Capital Development Corporation, a non-profit corporation providing financing and free technical assistance to minority and women-owned businesses.
